MANCHESTER. — Paul Pogba has refused to rule out a move away from Manchester United after their 4-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday but insists he is “having fun” at Old Trafford.
Earlier this summer, Pogba made it clear that he wanted to leave United by claiming that he wants a “new challenge”. But despite interest from Real Madrid and Juventus, United stood firm and refused to sell the World Cup winner. Pogba played in midfield as United got their new Premier League campaign off to a flying start against Chelsea on Sunday.
Pogba’s fortunes have turned at the English Premiership club after receiving a standing ovation while leaving the pitch after an emphatic 4-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday. The English Premier League transfer window may have passed last week without Pogba leaving Old Trafford, but that is not stopping speculation linking the player with a move away, and he is doing little to cool all the rumours.
If anything the Frenchman is adding fuel to them following his latest comments after United’s 4-0 mauling of Chelsea on Sunday, when he suggested that anything is still possible. — AFP.
