HAVING burst on the big stahe as an unknown entity in 2013, national bodybuilding champion, Ndumiso Dlodlo, will return home to defend his title at the Sharon Hall in Milton Park in the capital.
Mr and Ms Zimbabwe is the premier bodybuilding contest in the countr.
This year’s event will be held on September 30.
South Africa-based Dlodlo is set to be the star attraction.
He has gone shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Champion Chienderamwano, Isaac “Sugar” Chimuchenga and Mat Humphreys.
Chienderamwano has since called it a day.
Two years ago, The Dog, as Dlodlo is affectionately known, took part in the ZITF Open and dominated the event.
He also competed at the nationals and came second behind Nigel “Spartan” Maphosa.
He defended his ZITF title last year after narrowly defeating Blessing “The Shadow” Nyapimbi to claim gold.
Dlodlo didn’t appear to have done his preparations well when he finished third in the Ironman 2017 event behind Blessing ”Hunky B” Saunyama and Lovemore “DeMbare” Munyamana.
